Master teacher, Ellie Figueroa and her daughter Maddalena, will have all of the supplies ready for kids to create their own luminary or happiness jar with recycled materials. This activity reinforces concepts of sustainability (recycling), community values (gratitude, connection) and ecological responsibility (re-purposing instead of buying new).
