Eat the Street

Why do we always plant ornamental plants along our streets and in front of our homes?  Why not add a few edibles to the landscape?

The Eat the Street movement is attempting to do just that!   Here are a few interesting experiments in creating edible streetscapes.

The Museum of Modern Art in NYC has an edible organic garden (below) of medicinals, herbals, edibles, and plants for pollinators.
